Corrections
We correct factual errors in the article itself. We do not leave the wrong sentence standing and hide the fix in a footnote.
How to request a correction
Email editorial@hackerlogs.com with the URL, the sentence that is wrong, and the source that shows the right fact. That mailbox is the corrections desk.
What we do
If the article is wrong, we change the text, update the modified date, and add a short note at the top of the piece stating what changed and when. We do not silently rewrite a threat brief after it has been read as news.
What this covers
Threat briefs are timely reporting. Explainers and labs are reference. A lab overtaken by a patch is updated; that is maintenance, not a news correction. A judgment you disagree with is not a correction. Disagreement is welcome on Contact.
